Tearin' it up

It always starts with just a little pick to "see what's up under here?" 

And the next thing you know you're holding the whole ceiling in your hands!
(kudos to the former owners who, rather than repairing a leaky roof, simply installed a layer of plastic between ceiling layers. Crafty souls). 

I always love that part when you peel away the last layer to discover ... 


The gross nesty things and mummified remains! 

Chalking that up to another attack of charm ...
