we don't have a radiator or gloves or books or scarves or sweaters, Florida does not need any of the above. when I lived in KY we had a woodburning stove and we put all our winter gear between it and the wall to warm it up, also got dressed behind the stove when it was to cold and ice was on the inside of the windows in my attic bedroom

There is certainly a unique smell when you're drying wet mittens and hats on the radiator. We grew up with old silver radiators in every room. One day we discovered how easily crayons melted when you press them against the hot radiator. We were so thrilled at all the colors running down everywhere, however my mother was not. Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to visiting your lovely blog often. Oh, love the hill in front. Perfect for sledding not so for mowing.( I live on a hill too)

Ohhhh that brought back memories! My parents used to heat our farmhouse with a woodstove in the kitchen and we would always have all our mittens,boots, hats, scarves and everything all scattered around it. Your blog is wonderful! Beth
